Mark Eyman

Business Development

Mark Eyman grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. He initially studied physical therapy at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, but while working in a clinic, realized that he wanted to take a different path. So he went back to school and earned another degree in business administration. After moving to Kansas City, Mark started a catering program for a restaurant, growing this side of the business and meeting future Kala Director of Operations Lesa Frick while providing food for Perceptive Software.


He eventually started working for the company as an executive assistant, developing valuable time management, organization, and scheduling skills. After several ownership changes, Mark oversaw the global employee experience for Hyland. Deciding he needed a new challenge outside of software, Mark earned his realtor’s license. He now serves as Kala’s business development manager, helping grow our reach and network.


When he isn’t working, Mark enjoys traveling and taking care of his animal menagerie, which includes dogs, horses, cats, goats, and rabbits. He’s also a keen runner. When asked what it means to be generous, Mark said, “Being a giving person.”
