Lisa Hilliard

It’s fair to say that Lisa Hilliard is an expert in human resources. She has worked in that department for large companies like Marriott, Coca-Cola, and H&R Block, recruiting, managing, and developing talent. She and her husband also previously ran a remodeling business where they were flipping houses one after another for several years. They moved a lot!

Six years ago, Lisa paused her career to become a full time caregiver for a family member. When she decided to get back into career mode, Lisa wanted to apply what she’d learned about home renovation into her next phase. So when Kala needed a new Project Coordinator, Lisa jumped at the chance to help be part of the process in creating high-quality houses that are built to last. 

Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, taking long walks and paddleboards at least once a week as the Kansas City weather permits.
