Archie Balleza

Carpenter

When he wasn’t studying, playing cornerback on the football field, or doing regular teenager things, he gained valuable insight into the construction industry by working alongside his dad, who was a framer. After graduating early at 17, Archie spent the next year learning more about framing in a tech school program. He then followed in his father’s footsteps by taking his first full-time framing job.

The crews he was part of enabled him to work well with people from all different places and backgrounds. He also discovered how to play a part in building to a high standard when crafting custom homes. These experiences served Archie well when he joined Kala’s in-house field team as a framer.

In his free time, Archie enjoys being with his family, who share his love of Italian restaurants. He has recently started expanding his palate and has come to appreciate Indian cuisine.

What does generous mean to Archie?

Someone that's selfless, puts their needs to the side, and gives to people.
